Flights and Transfers, Izmir and Bodrum Airport.
Flights
The nearest airport is Izmir Airport but Bodrum Airport is not too much further. Transfer times by car from Izmir and Bodrum are approx 1 hour and 1.5 hours respectively. There are more flights to Bodrum in general, especially out of season. If you can get to Birmingham Airport you will find Thomas Cook offer very cheap flights to Izmir. There is also talk of Ryanair starting cheap flights to Turkey, which would be nice. You can check Thomas Cook flights at www.flythomascook.com
Transfers
When you arrive at the airport in Turkey there are always taxis available. The other option would be to rent a car. There are many car rental companies in the airports, we have used SIXT at Izmir Airport and were charged €45 a day for a spacious Fiat Doblo.
