Currency - Turkish Lira or Euros?

The official currency is Turkish Lira (YTL) but almost everyone accepts Euro (€). When you pay with Euro you need to ask for change in Euro or you will receive change in Lira. At some cashpoints, you can withdraw in either currency. At the time of writing (July 05), one pound buys 2.3 Lira (Roughly.. 20 Lira = just under £10) and in the shops the a 15 Lira bill can be settled with 10 Euro.
